Aski and Cervante Meeting!!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

From the Offices of the Texas Independent Wrestling League Executive Director, Dr. Steven Zarella, Esq.

Re: The TIWL Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Hello wrestling fans. I wanted to inform you of some recent happenings regarding the Texas Independent Wrestling League Junior Heavyweight Championship.

On Friday, April 22nd, I received a call from representatives of the recognized TIWL Junior Heavyweight Champion “The Latin Vampire” Cervante stating that on a local radio show the host stated that the number one contender Aski, who’s championship achievement in Palmer was invalidated by the executive committee based on an invalid contract was being touted as “defending” the TIWL Junior Heavyweight Championship at Battle at the Bowles in Grand Prairie, Texas on June 11th.

Cervante’s representatives were also stating that Aski, who had yet to return the belt to either Cervante or the TIWL was appearing with the belt and presenting himself as champion. Cervante’s representatives made it clear that the belt needed to be returned and that if it was not done in a timely fashion, the matter would be pursued in the courts.

Later that night, after conferring with the Executive Committee, I ordered both Cervante and Aski to appear in our offices for a meeting. I had advised Aski of the issue brought up by Cervante’s representatives and advised him that he would need to bring the TIWL Junior Heavyweight Championship belt to the meeting.

Because of the legal gravity that was involved and the need to have the issue documented, I ordered that the meeting be video taped. The video has been cleared by both the TIWL Executive Committee and the TIWL legal team to be released and allowed to be documented on our internet properties. Below is the video of the interaction and is the resolutions that the Texas Independent Wrestling League has imposed on both wrestlers regarding the situation.
